Do I need a save-the-date card?
If your wedding is scheduled during high-travel times (holiday weekends or peak season in a tourist destination), a save-the-date card is a nice touch. They also can be helpful for a destination wedding, since additional travel planing will be needed.
When do I send them?
To give guests enough time, it’s a good idea to begin spreading the word 6 months prior to your wedding (8 months for a destination).
